Filmmaker Ed Stafford experiences the hardships that residents face on some of the UK's most troubled estates. In London, Ed encounters Northumberland Park's gun and knife crime and discovers that kids as young as 13 are still getting drawn in.

2. Inside Birmingham's Troubled Inner City Estates

In Birmingham, Ed Stafford moves in with a local who for the last 20 years has lived in one of Ladywood's tower blocks. He also meets a mum-of-three who's claiming benefits and resorting to food banks to feed her family.

3. Inside Glasgow's Most Deprived Housing Estate

On the sprawling Easterhouse estate in Glasgow, Ed Stafford meets the locals who've been hit hard by the cost-of-living crisis and are facing the daily effects of high levels of drug abuse.
