After realizing that she might have left crucial evidence in Charlie's hotel room, Shelly devises a plan to destroy it discreetly at the police station.

After Lynch's true identity is revealed, a twenty-year-old case tied to Shelly and Charlie with political implications is reopened by DSI Crichett in London.

4. Deirdre

As the investigation gains momentum in both nations, Fiona becomes wary of Shelly, Jason's partner.

Shelly manages to evade fingerprint detection, but when a new witness emerges with a description of a possible suspect, it could implicate her.

Shelly faces mounting pressure after being identified as the mysterious woman at the crime scene. She contemplates escape, but her love for her children prevails and she decides to stay put.
