Production

Scott McCall, a high school student living in the town of Beacon Hills has his life drastically changed when he's bitten by a werewolf, becoming one himself. He must henceforth learn to balance his problematic new identity with his day-to-day teenage life. The following characters are instrumental to his struggle: Stiles, his best friend; Allison, his love interest who comes from a family of werewolf hunters; and Derek, a mysterious werewolf with a dark past. Throughout the series, he strives to keep his loved ones safe while maintaining normal relationships with them.

Scott McCall is bitten by The Alpha and turns into a werewolf. He then must learn how to balance being a werewolf with his normal life, including his love interest, Allison. Finding out who the Alpha is and killing him was a huge point in the plot of Season 1.

1. Wolf Moon

2. Second Chance at First Line

Scott and Allison end up in a group date; an animal attack has Stiles' sheriff father on the lookout.

A new hunter comes to town and shoots Derek, who is certain to die unless Scott can find the right kind of bullet that caused his injury.

There's another animal attack involving Lydia and Jackson, raising more questions about wild animals. Meanwhile, Scott and Allison skip school and Derek must deal with the werewolf hunters on his own.

Scott tries to control his transformation so he can spend more time with Allison. Elsewhere, Derek continues trying to make an ally of Scott.

Scott and the others are trapped inside the high school as the Alpha draws near.
