A young man living in a shack has mastered the art of making noodles. When a disheveled fellow his age knocks on his door looking for shelter, he takes him in. The decision leads to his demise, but also to the birth of his son, who prevails through miserable hardship to grow into a real man.

The critic, Seol Mi Ja, invites Kim Dae Ha to eat lunch with her at her famous noodle place; "Fish Noodles," Moo Myung's new private restaurant.

Kim Gil Do's resentful wife proves to be an issue for him, as he realizes his foes are plentiful and utilizing one another as resources. Moo Myung doesn't know if he can trust Seol Mi Ja.
